Responsible Gaming
Real-money gaming should be entertainment, not a way to make money or escape problems. This page offers guidance for keeping play safe.
Set limits
Decide a fixed budget before you play and never deposit more than you can comfortably lose. Treat any deposit as the price of entertainment.
Warning signs
Chasing losses, borrowing money to play, hiding play from family, or feeling anxious when not playing are signs to stop. Rummy and similar games can become addictive.
Get help
If gaming is affecting your finances, work or relationships, take a break and consider speaking to a trusted person or a professional support service. India does not have a single dedicated gambling helpline, but free, confidential mental-health and de-addiction support is available:
Support helplines (India)
KIRAN — Government of India mental health helpline: 1800-599-0019 (24x7, multiple languages). Vandrevala Foundation: 1860-2662-345 or +91-9999-666-555 (24x7). These services offer confidential emotional support and can refer you to local counselling. Numbers are listed from public sources; please verify the latest details on the official KIRAN and Vandrevala Foundation websites.
Self-exclusion and limits
Most apps let you set deposit limits, take a cooling-off period, or self-exclude from your account settings or by contacting their support. Use these tools early — they are easiest to set before play becomes a problem. You can also block gambling transactions through some banks and UPI apps.
18+ and restricted states
Real-money play is for adults 18 and over only, and is restricted or banned in: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Odisha, Nagaland, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh.
